Reputation: Frequently unnoticed by others, Louis flies under the radar as a matter of habit. Quickly slapped with the 'grumpy old man' label once someone has interacted with him. Less commonly referred to as a 'creep' for some unfortunate few who witness his erratic behaviors.
A. Area of potential: Trained Fighter- Proficient in hand to hand combat, explosives (including improvised), firearms, tactical driving, apprehension avoidance, military EMS, psychological warfare, covert operations and cyberwarfare. Heavily favors Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu techniques.
B. Area of potential: Observant- Picks up on details quickly and easily, catching things others gloss over. Particularly adept at sizing people up, determining their personality and motivations. Can often anticipate reactions and use them to his advantage. New haircuts will ever go unnoticed around this guy.
C. Area of potential: Strategic- Although his actions seem like completely random and unplanned outbursts, Louis is actually a mastermind of long term plots. He is always trying to box others into a checkmate in some form.
D. Known Risk Factor: Paranoid- Highly suspicious of everyone and everything. Logic cannot penetrate this streak in him, and he is always waiting for the other shoe to drop.
E. Known Risk Factor: Sadistic/Masochistic- Though primarily masochistic, Louis has components of both traits, both enjoying the experience of pain himself and of inflicting pain onto others. Physical as well as psychological pain included. He enjoys the BDSM community and partakes, but his kinks also slip outside the community running into some consent problems.
F. Known Risk Factor: Deviant - Behaves in patterns that from the outside observer does not make any logical sense. May have sudden mood swings, ignore direct questions, twist words and in general cause difficulties in a communal environment. Hot and cold attitude. Huge liar.
*Other: Found this 'opportunity' as an alternative to sitting in prison on false arrest charges that were quickly going to snowball into a lot of charges that they had been trying to pin on him for a long time and had finally pieced the evidence together. Still, not officially charged with anything but resisting arrest. Previous to that, had been recruited by the CIA in the 1980's after accidentally solving a recruitment puzzle. Spent the last 30+ years working for the agency, with a bulk overseas in an interrogator position in the Middle east during the post 9/11 conflict. Was forced to retire several years ago after a notable mental break, and since, has been playing a cat and mouse game as a criminal at large in an isolated town in Louisiana, USA. Has thick texan accent.

It was the middle of the night.
2am, maybe 3am.
Most participants were asleep, or working, or at least quarantined in their little bedroom until it was time to get up.
Then, there was Louis, dressed clad in unremarkable clothing as usual, standing in the middle of the common kitchen dorm. Though this time, he was not wearing his trademark sunglasses. His eyes were open, though there was a certain glaze over them. Pot, maybe? But his eyes weren't red or puffy, either, and he didn't smell of it. Surprising, he didn't even reek of alcohol.
Currently the man had a trademarked TEDISON mug in his hand, and was standing in front of one of the industrial sinks with the water running. His cup was inside of the sink, but it was inches away from the water flow. Hence; his cup did not get filled.
Yet, he still stood there, as if his actions had a purpose.
And instead of looking at the drink he was pouring, you know, to possibly make sure the liquid got right into the cup, the man was oddly staring right in front of himself. At what? Why?
A puzzle indeed.

There was a balance, one that had to be maintained for his ultimate success. Louis held no interest in propping up the TEDISON project. He did not care about the wellbeing of [redacted] and had every intention of causing the mission to fail- provided he was not caught and punished for it. So he could not openly subvert the bourgeoisie; to do so would be spelling a potentially worse fate for himself than life in prison in Louisana. There was something innocuously sinister about this whole thing, despite it looking crisp and white and refreshing out the surface.
He had never been a fan of the project. Louis' reason for being here was to avoid prison time. Here they kept abuses of power private and pretty. Louis? He could work with that.
All of which, was why he found himself approaching the benching machine. He had been watching a young woman use it for the past few hours, watching the machine fail on her due to some...'modifications' he had done on it some time ago. He decided there had been enough injuries in particular on that machine that someone might now investigate if there was something wrong with it. It was time to fix the machine, in the very event that this investigation took place. There would be no evidence of the previous fails.
He approached the machine, his thumb rolling something to his palm. It was the makeshift screwdriver he'd been using to loosen this nut and bolt, which consequentially, also was used to tighten them back up. There may have been a scuff or two near the joints due to the frequent tightening and tightening of the bolts, but it was not blatantly obvious. Most people were not astute enough to go beyond the whole 'tried the machine, it works, reports are wrong' approach.
Louis' hand laid casually over one of these joints, as his palm rotated slightly, screwing the bolt back into place, tight like it belonged. It looked as though he was resting his hand on the machine, watching the gym users come and go. Given he wore the work uniform, everyone knew he worked there, and unfortunately it was times like these that he was mistaken for being approachable.
A person would catch his gaze, decide they needed some assistance on training, and naturally...approach to ask him. Louis Price wasn't a damn gym trainer. Why would he willingly equip others to pose a greater threat to himself? That was like asking the United States to provide Nuclear Weapons to the rest of the world. Which, ironically, was something they willingly did last Louis was on the planet...a country that would knowingly sell weapons to a rival country for money, (and worse) equip communists for the first part of world war 2. Not to mention Operation Cyclone.
Here it was happening again. Louis met the gaze of another man- a much younger man- and it seemed, the man was approaching him. Louis finished up screwing the bolt in whilst drawing no attention to the gesture, giving a blank, unwelcoming expression to the man. Maybe he would change his mind and walk away; it wasn't too late yet. Take the out.

The box is...badly beaten up. Half of it is soggy, and the other half is severely burnt. Additionally, it smells incredibly bad to the point that it makes you wonder what in the world is in there. There is a small opening where it appears objects might fit through, if pushed hard enough. Otherwise...it might be best to avoid this one.

Big brother was watching, and there was no escape. Louis had woken up one day in the midst of a real life rendition of 1984. Perhaps he'd felt like was like this before arriving on [REDACTED], but his new circumstances only exemplified the sensation.
It was true; he was no longer sitting in a jail cell, awaiting charges that in his mind added up to nothing more than false arrest and imprisonment. He had escaped his fate to a whole new version of hell. Wasn't like he had any other options at the time. He was certain to get the death penalty in the little bayou state. This was better. Hardly, though.
So here he was, dressed in the uniform they made the workers of the gym wear. It wasn't pressed and ironed like some other employees did, rather, halfassedly thrown on. He wore sunglasses irregardless of what regulation said. And he stood, staring down people from behind them with a menacing gaze that they could not see, daring them to approach and ask him for his expertise.
Apparently 'they' thought he was suited to instruct this new society on how to stay fit.
As if he was going to willingly arm these people against himself...
It was best that everyone else was weak and clueless, that he retained the knowledge that he did of the human physique, and 'they' didn't get what they wanted. He would not help 'them'.
Currently, he was standing next to one of the weight machines, seemingly resting his hand on it. However this was not the case. clutched in his palm, he had a metal nail he'd found. Where was unimportant. The important part was that he had found the exact angle that he predicted the cameras (which he knew had to be there, despite there not being any verifiable evidence) could not see. He was very subtly rotating his hand, right on the screw of the machine, loosening it just enough. Enough that it wouldn't be visible to the naked eye, but of course, over time it would result in a complete failure of the equipment while someone was in the process of using it. Could kill someone, actually. Was that what Louis wanted?
If he got his way....if he wasn't caught...surely all of the screws would be loose in this place, just like they were in his head. Who knew how many machines he had already sabotaged in the very same way.
Then, he heard footsteps. Attention drawn to a woman approaching; a woman he knew had very, very, very recently become his superior. A woman who seemed to be coming toward him with determination. Louis gave his very best smile, rolling the nail in his palm to a close, and then pocketing the thing, in yet another subtle movement.

0-25 points -- Ain't that bad
Louis is in a pretty good mood and hasn't started being an asshole *yet*. You are one of the lucky few.
25-50 points-- One more word outta you...
Better watch yourself... Louis ain't in a good mood, and he's probably already done something terrible, it can only go downhill from here
50+ points--- You got it bad!
Too bad you had to meet Louis in this mood, chances are, the thread'll end in two posts. He is a man to be reckoned with right now, and you are the poor victim of his antics.
