Participant Name: Juno da Costa Guerrera

Appearance: Juno’s most striking feature is her dark skin, something that has garnered attention throughout her life, from five year-old bullies on the playground to modeling scouts as a teenager - both of which she resolutely ignored. Juno grew up all over the world, so she’s used to standing out. Her eyes are dark too, like her hair which is tightly curled. She has a naturally thin frame which she maintains by doing no exercise and eating as unhealthily as possible.
*Language(s) known: English, Portuguese, intermediate Spanish and a little French.
*Highest Education Received : Master's degree, biomechanical engineering.
*Relations: One doting father, one (somewhat) estranged mother and baby half-brother, one on/off girlfriend, a team of lab assistants (three), and a personal shopper.
Reputation: Those that don’t know Juno but see her around the university where she works, know her as the chic one who never seems to do any work. She is frequently mistaken for a student, which she blames on her sense of style and youthful energy. Her friends know her as warm, generous but almost impossible to pin down - arrange to have brunch next weekend and she’ll call ten minutes before claiming she forgot, or show up two hours late and pretend not to know why you’re mad.
A. Area of potential: Intelligent. Juno has always been smart. She sailed through school and her undergrad degree almost accidentally, then thrived on the challenges of her master’s. She naturally gravitated towards biomechanical engineering as an undergrad, intrigued by the combination of man and machine. Science comes easy to her, and she often gets lost in formulae and numbers, only to look up and realise it’s 7pm and everyone has gone home already. She’s heard some intriguing things on the grapevine about TEDISON... did someone mention clones?
B. Area of potential: Sweet. Juno isn’t always on the same page as everyone else, and she has been labeled an ‘oddball’ in the past. However she always tries her best to be friendly, and most of the time she succeeds. She finds it easy to talk to people, although she does have a bad habit of dropping out of touch suddenly even with her closest friends. Her heart is always in the right place.
C. Area of potential: Cosmopolitan. Juno’s father was a diplomat for most of her childhood so she grew up moving from country to country every few years, changing friends, scenery and languages. She’s used to change and she adapts well to new environments as long as she has her creature comforts. She’s fluent in two languages and can get by in at least two more.
D. Known Risk Factor: Unambitious. Juno has never been driven by the need to earn money or power like her father. She enjoys having money of course, but she has no head for scheming and finds the research part of her job way to interesting to be tempted by the high salaries of the corporate sector. She does her job because she wants to, not because she has to, and the moment it no longer interests her she’ll move on to the next thing with barely a second thought.
E. Known Risk Factor: Spoilt. The only daughter of a socialite mother and diplomat father, Juno was doted on as a child and not just because both parents hoped she would be the one thing to save their marriage. She grew up privileged and it shows, she has a natural air of confidence that screams private school and spends an obscene amount of money on various designer garments every season. Unfortunately this also means Juno is used to getting her own way and living in luxury. She doesn’t cope well when she’s taken away from her wardrobe or her porcelain bathtub, and when she’s unhappy she make sure everyone around her knows about it.
F. Known Risk Factor: Lazy. Even though she can work for hours without a break, when it comes to life outside the lab Juno has been known to lie in bed for long hours, keep most of her clothes in a nice even layer on the floor, and order take out five nights out of seven. She doesn’t see the problem with this, it’s only when other people come into her life that she realises it’s not so normal. Even then, she doesn’t care enough to change her habits.
